Feb half term drama camp

Whodunit-in-a-week!

A week of mystery, disguise, clues and decoys, crime, detective work and riddle solving – our young creatives will create their very own Whodunit which they'll perform for family and friends at the end of the week. Five days of unbounded creativity – devising characters, script writing and story-telling, song and dance, making sound effects, physical theatre and improvisation, drama game playing and daily crafting activities including making props and masks, creating codes, costume design and set painting.

Monday 17th – Becoming masters of disguise

We conjure up our very own alter ego. By the end of the day no one will recognise you!

Tuesday 18th – Scripting our Whodunit

Each age group will devise their own Whodunit. Will our seasoned detectives, assisted by the audience, be able to solve the mystery? Shocks, surprises and chills await!!

Wednesday 19th – Dancing and soundscaping

We'll devise a dance routine and become foley artists – creating sound effects for our shows.

Thursday 20th – Physical theatre

Inspired by internationally renowned theatre companies such as Frantic Assembly (Curious Incident, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child) we'll learn how we can use our bodies to tell stories, through gesture, mime, dance and movement.

Friday 21st – Show time!

Bringing everything together, putting on the final touches, dress rehearsal and the world premiere. The excitement, the nerves, the exhilaration, the standing ovation – the lifelong memory.
