Are the camps suitable for shy kids?
Yes, absolutely. We create a nurturing child-led environment where everyone is able to express themselves freely. There is a broad variety of activities aside from acting; singing, dancing, storytelling, game playing, crafting, as well as learning theatre skills, so there is plenty of opportunity to shine. We play lots of games that help build confidence, we know who the less demonstrative children are and carefully coax them out of their shells, and we have a 100% hit rate of turning the 'shy' ones into those that don't want to go home!

Do you have the resources to manage my child?
We welcome everyone. We have a lot of experience working with SEN children. Please be as upfront as you can with us and we'll work together to ensure your child is safe, given appropriate attention, and has as much fun as possible with us.
What if my child can't come for the whole week?
We design our camps so that each day is different; different themes, different games, different skills to learn. While we encourage children to come for the full week we understand that this is not always possible and offer stand-alone days.

How do you handle the broad age groups?
We recognise there's a difference between a 5 and an 11 year old. We run lots of group activities and ensure children are grouped sensibly together. We vary our expectations dependent on age and ability we keep a very close eye on this, so that everyone is either in their comfort zone or being stretched creatively, and never bored or feels patronised. In Leyton we very often have use of another hall and run two camps with two different age groups: 5-7 and 8-11.

What is wrap around and what do you do?
They're additional hours (8.30am-9.30am; 3.30pm - 5.30pm) on top of the standard hours (9.30am - 3.30pm); drop off early, pick up later so you can do more with your day! It involves a mix of free and structured play. Invariably the morning hour involves drawing and the afternoon hours, when energy levels are higher, involves drama game playing, some outside time, board games, drawing. There is no screen time during wrap around.
